A Magic Trick I Discovered (and a fun announcement!)
As we navigate this holiday season, you may be trying - as I am - to stay open to something other than what we would normally be doing. This is not to say it can’t still be something meaningful and lovely, but it is …different.
Still, even as I practice staying present to what is, I can’t help getting excited about what is POSSIBLE in the coming weeks and the new year.
Because I have something exciting in the works…
In the past, I have often been slow to act (but quick to overthink) on certain goals I want to achieve.
In 2009 I did my first big speaking gig at the Agape Center in LA for about 100 people. As I was talking with attendees afterward, I was repeatedly asked, “Where can I get your book?”
I have never been able to shake the idea that there might be a book (or 2 or 3) inside me.
Over the years I have talked and talked about writing a book (maybe even with you). I even took writing classes from an amazing author. Still, no book.
Then I discovered this amazing trick for accomplishing big audacious goals. And it REALLY works.
Are you ready?
It’s this… I DECIDE. Have you heard about this trick? This has been one of the most powerful tools I have used over the last year or so.
For those who are currently working with me, I know you are experiencing the way our work has evolved. And if we are not working together now, I am happy to share more - just send me a message.
So perhaps you have already deduced - I’m writing that book!
You know what else? As soon as I made the decision the entire outline poured out of me in under an hour. Soon after, I shared my book intention with a colleague and was promptly introduced to a publisher who’s become a mentor and potential publishing partner. Just last week I wrote the outline of a SECOND book. The magic of decision making!
This book is for everyone that my coaching (in book form) can help. Share your thoughts on the areas of our work that have created (or would now create) the biggest wins for you. Send me a message or click the link below to participate in a brief survey.
